Dana Bay has two popular beaches, First Beach, and Second Beach. These are great for fishing, however, these are not Blue Flag Beaches. For safe swimming we recommend the following beaches in the area:

• Santos beach
• De Bakke beach
• Hartenbos beach
• Glentana Beachand
• Klein Brakrivier beach

Our area is rich in history, and also offers some amazing excursions. To have some fun visit the following:

• Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex
• Cape Saint Blaize Lighthouse
• Seabird and Penguin Rehabilitation Centre

For the more adventurous and energetic guests, you will find hiking trails, zip-lining and even shark cage diving. There are wineries and distilleries too!

Whatever you need you will find close-by. A number of shops are available in Dana Bay, and if you want to venture a bit further you can pay a visit to the Langeberg Mall, or Heiderand Mall.

Also within easy reach of Dana Baai and Mossel Bay is George. George has it’s own attractions, including the Outeniqua Transport Museum, Redberry Farm, and others. Oudtshoorn, only an hour away, offers visits to ostrich farms and the Cango Caves.

If you are into mountain passes, we have you covered. A number of passes are within easy reach from Dana Bay.
